You may have an anxiety disorder such as:

When: Thursdays from 7:00-9:00 pm

Dates: 10 Weeks (Summer dates TBD)

Cost: $30 Per Session


The University of Texas Laboratory for the Study of Anxiety Disorders is currently offering a counseling group designed to address anxiety disorders using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a short-term, goal-oriented psychotherapy treatment that takes a hands-on, practical approach to problem-solving. Its goal is to change patterns of thinking or behavior that are behind people’s difficulties, and change the way they feel.


Dr. Michael Telch is internationally recognized for his scientific research on the nature and treatment of panic, phobias, and anxiety-related disorders. He has served as a scientific advisor to the National Institute of Mental Health’s Anxiety Disorders Education. His published work has tackled a broad range of questions related to the nature and treatment of pathological fear across the full spectrum of anxiety disorders.
