Benson Collection Maps Talk at Faulk Central Library

Julianne Gilland, special collections curator at the Benson Latin American Collection, gives a talk on the exhibition Mapping Mexican History, installed at the Austin Public Library's (APL) Faulk Central Library location as part of a partnership between the Benson and APL. The exhibition contains reproductions of Mexican maps dating from the 16th century that are part of the Benson's rare books and materials collection. The talk is open to the public and appropriate for all ages.

The Benson's Mexican materials bibliographer, José Montelongo, will present a Spanish-language version of the same talk on Sunday, July 20, at 2 p.m. in the same location.
