Volunteer: Call for Undergraduate Student Survey Participants

We want to know why you decided to declare or not declare a major as an undergraduate student here at The University of Texas at Austin. Your participation and feedback will help us develop a degree exploration tool for future Longhorns.

We are looking for approximately 100 students to participate in a study to help us understand the major selection process of undergraduate students at The University of Texas at Austin. We are looking for approximately 50 undergraduate students with declared majors and approximately 50 students with undeclared majors. Participants are asked to fill out an online Qualtrics survey. We would like to analyze the qualitative decision factors that went into your major declaration decision.

Participants must be adults, ages 18 and older, and in good state of mental and physical health. All participants must speak and read English fluently.

The study is conducted through the online survey platform Qualtrics. The survey takes between 10 and 20 minutes.

We value your participation. As a token of our appreciation, if selected to participate in our study you will be entered in a drawing to win one of three $50 Amazon gift cards for completion of the survey.

The survey can be found here
