CantoMundo 2014 Public Poetry Reading (Night 2)

More than 20 nationally recognized Latina/o poets from across the United States gather in Austin, Texas for CantoMundo 2014. Twelve of these poets, along with an award-winning guest poet Rafael Campo, present their work in the Black Box Theater of the Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center (600 River Street, Austin, Texas) on Saturday, July 12, 2014. The event is scheduled to begin at 8:00 p.m. and is free and open to the public. A booksigning, sponsored by Resistencia Bookstore, follows the public reading.

Parking at the Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center is available through parking meters surrounding the grounds of the center.

CantoMundo 2014 is sponsored by the Center for Mexican American Studies (UT Austin), the Department of English (UT Austin) and Corazón Bilingüe.
