Center for Transportation Research Symposium

The CTR Symposium is an annual event celebrating research conducted by transportation faculty, students and staff across campus.

This year, the symposium celebrates 50 years of transformative research conducted by our students and faculty that directly benefitted the State of Texas, and their impacts nationally and internationally.

In addition to panels by transportation faculty, we are also recognizing 50 years of innovation in bridge design and construction, led by Sharon Wood, Dean of the Cockrell School of Engineering. She is joined by Oguzhan Bayrak, Director of the Ferguson Structural Laboratory, John Breen and James Jirsa, who have also been pivotal figures in the work performed at Ferguson.

Poster sessions will be available during the panel breaks.

**Please note that the luncheon is restricted to attendees who are associated with the TxDOT research program.
