The Rapoport Center announces its 2014 colloquium, Comparing European and North American Approaches to Human Rights, organized in collaboration with the Center for European Studies and funded in part by a grant from the European Union. The inaugural event, co-sponsored by the Robert S. Strauss Center for International Security and Law, is titled “Approaches to Counter-terrorism.”

The event features Fionnuala Ní Aoláin, Dorsey & Whitney Chair in Law, University of Minnesota Law School, and Professor of Law, Transitional Justice Institute, University of Ulster, presenting "The Special Court as Risk and Opportunity," and Aziz Rana, Associate Professor of Law, Cornell University Law School, presenting "Constitutional Nationalism and the Rise of the Security State.”
