Decolonizing Alliances: Envisioning Communities of Healing & Solidarity

The 6th Annual CSE Conference has come together with organizers from the Early Childhood Education program, NAIC UT Austin, Native American Indigenous Peoples Association at The University of Texas at Austin, and the International Indigenous Youth Council - Texas to put together a joint symposium that honors those who are persistent in pursuits of reconciliation, peace, and justice through scholarship, activism, and the arts. This symposium strives to envision what communities of healing and solidarity could look like when joined together by common goals of healing, care, hope, love, nurturance, peaceful reconciliation, and concern for educational spaces. The symposium will be held on Friday, April 21 at the Puerto Rican Cultural Center, and Saturday April 22 at UT Austin (CLA building). See detailed program here.
