The Department of Neuroscience at The University of Texas at Austin is excited to announce the 2018 dates for their new public outreach and education program, UT Brainstorms: A Conversation on the Brain. This series will provide information accessible to non-scientific audiences about a variety of neuroscience topics that relate to normal brain function, neurological diseases, overall brain health and how neuroscience research can improve everyday life. Dr. Michael Drew, Assistant Professor of Neuroscience, will conduct the next session on February 15th: “The Frightened Brain: A Conversation about Fear and Anxiety.”
