Graves Fitzsimmons is a transit reporter at the New York Times, covering the city's subways, buses, bikes, taxis, and “everything that moves” in the region. She previously covered breaking news at the Times and worked in the newspaper’s Chicago bureau.

Graves Fitzsimmons, who graduated from the School of Journalism at University of Texas at Austin in 2006, worked at the Daily Texan and had internships at the Galveston County Daily News, Austin American-Statesman, and Boston Globe. She was a metro reporter at the Chicago Tribune before joining the Times in 2009.
