Globalization, Social Class, and Hegemonic Masculinity among Young Men in South Korea

This talk explores the implications of globalization for “hegemonic masculinity” in contemporary Korea among young men in their twenties and thirties. Specifically, it examines how economic, cultural, and political globalization has generated conditions for altering experiences of hegemonic masculinity among these men.
