The 2018 Greater Austin Area Information Literacy Symposium brings together academic, public, school and special librarians from across the greater Austin area for a free, one-day symposium about information literacy, digital literacy and teaching in libraries. Kathleen Tyner, Associate Professor at UT Austin’s Department of Radio-Television-Film, will give the keynote address. Professor Tyner publishes, lectures and works internationally with programs related to the media arts, digital literacy, and the uses of serious games for learning.
