Greater Austin Area Information Literacy Symposium

The 2018 Greater Austin Area Information Literacy Symposium brings together academic, public, school and special librarians from across the greater Austin area for a free, one-day symposium about information literacy, digital literacy and teaching in libraries. Kathleen Tyner, Associate Professor at UT Austin’s Department of Radio-Television-Film, will give the keynote address. Professor Tyner publishes, lectures and works internationally with programs related to the media arts, digital literacy, and the uses of serious games for learning. For more information, including the schedule and links to registration, see http://guides.lib.utexas.edu/GAAILS.
