Learn how meteorologists work with variability when they are trying to forecast the weather with featured speaker Dr. Kevin Kloesel, director of the Oklahoma Climatological Survey (and a Lifetime UT Longhorn). His talk will include highly engaging audience participation activities.

Additionally, this event features a community science fair with many fun, hands-on weather-related activities. Come experience what it's like to be a TV weather reporter with our green screen setup.

This event is designed for science fans of all ages, is very kid-friendly and a great way to inspire kids into science.

Parking: Hot Science-Cool Talks (HSCT) attendees can get coupons for $3 parking for the San Jacinto Garage at http://www.utexas.edu/maps/main/buildings/sjg.html.
