The Spring 2014 Excessive Noise Concert at the Fine Arts Library is a collaboration with the You Are Here maps event series, presenting musical works with intimate ties to place, journey, and representations of locality in conjunction with a variety of maps from UT's collection. The program features a number of recent works including a set of commissioned cello duos inspired by maps of Chicago, Illinois for recent UT graduate, Dr. Frank Jenkins. Admission is free and open to the public.
