"Notes on 100% Renewable Cities in Texas" at UT Energy Symposium

This week's featured speaker at the UT Energy Symposium is Neil McAndrews. His talk is titled "Notes on 100% Renewable Cities in Texas."

Mr. McAndrews has over 30 years of experience in the energy industry. He was a founder and later Chief Operating Officer of one of the first U.S. integrated risk management programs for an electric utility in the US. He has worked in multiple NERC regions in the US and in Canada. Recently he has assisted several utilities to increase the use of low cost renewable resources. He is the author of many studies related to power supplies, price risk and congestion management. He lives in Austin, Texas, and holds degrees from the Universities of Iowa and Texas.

The UT Energy Symposium meets every Thursday during the long semesters. Come early to attend a networking session before the talk: refreshments will be served at 4:45 p.m. in the POB Connector Lobby outside the auditorium.
