Paid Research: Volunteers Needed for a Study on Sleep, Activity, and Cognition

Researchers at the University of Texas at Austin are looking for young adults (ages 18- 30) to participate in a study examining sleep, activity and cognition across the lifespan. The study involves completing psychological tests, surveys, and computer based decision-making and memory tasks in a functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) scanner. It will also involve the continuous wearing of a small wristwatch device that measures sleep-wake activity for 10 days. Each participant may earn up to $120, and parking is provided. Each participant may also receive a picture of his or her brain and a sleep-wake activity report.

For more information, and to see if you qualify, please e-mail UTagingresearch@gmail.com to reach the study coordinator.

Feel free to forward this information to anyone you believe may be eligible for our study.
