Friday, February 14, 2014 at 12:00pm to 1:00pm

School of Nursing, 4.180 1710 Red River Street, Austin, TX 78701

Dr. Lorraine Walker, RN, EdD, MPH, FAAN, UT Austin School of Nursing; director, St. David's CHPR, presents this colloquium. A life course perspective is refining public health practice and research in maternal-child health and chronic disease prevention. What is this perspective? How is it tied to the fetal origins of chronic disease and the failure of prenatal care to reduce preterm birth? If these ideas and questions intrigue you, come join this lecture/conversation on the life course perspective in women's health.
