Robert Jensen on “Hierarchy v. Solidarity: Understanding the Present and Imagining the Future”

Students for Social Justice, a new student group at the University of Texas, hosts a discussion with Professor Robert Jensen on “Hierarchy v. Solidarity: Understanding the Present and Imagining the Future.” Jensen will offer a framework for understanding the systems of power that structure our world and suggest ways to imagine alternatives. Jensen, who teaches in the School of Journalism, is the author of Plain Radical: Living, Loving, and Learning to Leave the Planet Gracefully.
Students for Social Justice is a progressive student organization that creates space for students interested in left politics to develop their views and explore ways to get involved in political activism. Free pizza will be provided, along with information about future SSJ meetings.
