Talk: "Churchill: Walking with Destiny," by Andrew Roberts, King’s College London

Historian Andrew Roberts will be joining us on campus, Monday, January 28th, 2019, to discuss his newly released Churchill: Walking with Destiny. Roberts is well known for his World War II histories The Storm of War and Masters and Commanders, but with his 2014 release of Napoleon: A Life, he cemented himself as one of the greatest biographers of his era.

With his new book, Churchill: Walking with Destiny, Roberts certainly does not disappoint, with The New York Times claiming that it is the greatest biography of Churchill ever written. Other publications to praise Robert’s work include the Wall Street Journal, The Economist, The Daily Beast, The Telegraph, and The Sunday Times.

Please join us at the Harry Ransom Center for a talk covering his new work followed by a Q&A session.
