The Black Panther: The Revolution Will Be Televised

The nation’s leading scholar on the history, relevance, and continued importance of the Black Panthers, Dr. Yohuru R. Williams, and Founding Director of the Center for the Study of Race and Democracy, Dr. Peniel E. Joseph, will discuss the political histyory behind the cultural event of 2018, Black Panther. The conversation will link the acclaimed film and its themes of activism, ancestry and injustice to the similar struggles addressed by the Black Panthers historically.
