The Cohen New Works Festival presents The Caregiving Project

The Cohen New Works Festival presents The Caregiving Project, an interactive solo performance. A single performer leads the audience into the complicated joys and dilemmas of care that have informed her own life; through audience interview, she invites them to investigate the private and public ways we make meaning through the giving and receiving of care, and the narratives we create to explain it to ourselves.

The Cohen New Works Festival presented by Broadway Bank is a five-day showcase of new work created by University of Texas at Austin students. Produced by the university’s Department of Theatre and Dance, the Festival is not just an event, but also a celebration of a continuously ongoing process – the creation of new work.
