Visiting performing artist Colman Domingo presents a performance lecture titled "The Intersection of Soul Music, Black Cultural Expression and Surrealism." An award-winning director and playwright, Domingo includes among his film credits Lee Daniels' "The Butler," Steven Spielberg's "Lincoln," and Spike Lee's "Passing Strange" and "Red Hook Summer," among others. He is the author of "A Boy and His Soul," winner of the 2010 Lucille Lortel Award for Best Solo Show Off-Broadway and the GLAAD Media Award for Best Production in New York.
