The University of Texas Symphony Orchestra

The University of Texas Symphony Orchestra, led by Gerhardt Zimmerman, is recognized as one of the top college orchestras in the nation. For this program, scheduled to coincide with the Passover and Easter celebrations, the UT Symphony Orchestra will be joined by The University of Texas Choirs under the direction of James Morrow for a performance of Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 2. Commonly referred to as the Resurrection Symphony. The work was first performed in 1895 and was one of Mahler's most popular and successful works. $10 Student Tickets Available.
