Trayvon Martin: The Tangle of Race, Law & Justice in America

The American Constitution Society for Law and Policy (ACS) and the UT Law Civil Rights Clinic welcome Professor Ekow Yankah of Cardozo Law for a discussion on the inextricable link between race and law in the United States, as illustrated in the Trayvon Martin case.

Yankah discusses the role of race in the murder, the trial and national discussion about the case. Complimentary BBQ lunch provided.Yankah is a professor of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure at the Yeshiva University's Cardozo School of Law.

His op-ed pieces have appeared in the New York Times and Huffington Post.
