U.S.-China Forum: Prospects for U.S.-China Relations

Ambassador He Yafei, former vice minister of foreign affairs of the People’s Republic of China, will speak on prospects for U.S.-China relations in the wake of China's 19th Party Congress and Trump's first state visit to China. Following the keynote address, Ambassador He will engage in a panel discussion with Daniel Slane, a member of the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission, and David Firestein, executive director of The LBJ School of Public Affairs China Public Policy Center, The University of Texas at Austin.
