UT Brainstorms: A Conversation on the Brain

The Department of Neuroscience at The University of Texas at Austin is excited to announce their new public outreach and education program, UT Brainstorms: A Conversation on the Brain. This public outreach series will provide information accessible to non-scientific audiences about a variety of neuroscience topics that relate to normal brain function, neurological diseases, overall brain health and how neuroscience research can improve everyday life.

Dr. Michael Mauk, Chair of the Department of Neuroscience at UT, will conduct the first session on September 16: “The Forgetting Brain: A Conversation about Memory, Alzheimer’s, and Other Memory Disorders.” This public education event is free to the community.
