UT Energy Symposium Investigates the Importance of Fuel Diversity

The UT Energy Symposium opens its fall series of talks with a look at the Importance of Fuel Diversity in the Energy Generation Mix with Cris Eugster of CPS Energy.

Eugster is Executive Vice President and Chief Generation and Strategy Officer at CPS Energy. He is responsible for the overall performance, dispatch and evolution of our generation capabilities that include approximately 6,500 MW of traditional power plants (natural gas, nuclear, and coal) and 1,100 MW of renewables (wind, solar, and landfill gas). He also is responsible for corporate strategy, including integration of new technologies and development of new products and services. 

Eugster was formerly a Partner with McKinsey & Company. He has a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University and a Master of Science and doctorate from MIT -- all in electrical engineering.

Light refreshments will be served at a networking reception in the lobby outside the auditorium, starting at 4:45 p.m.
