UT Energy Symposium to Showcase Student Research

This week the UT Energy Symposium presents its semesterly Student Research Showcase.

Brent Bennett, a UT Materials Science and Engineering student pursuing his PhD under the direction of Professor Allen Bard, speaks on Redox Flow Batteries: How Cutting-Edge Chemistry Will Transform the Electric Grid.

UT Chemical Engineering PhD student Sean Wood, who is studying under the guidance of Professors Buddie Mullins and Adam Heller, presents his research on Improved Lithium-ion Batteries using Lead Telluride (PbTe).

Light refreshments will be served at a networking reception in the lobby outside the auditorium, starting at 4:45 p.m.
