Volunteer: Landmarks Preservation Guild

Friday, September 12, 2014

Landmarks, the public arts program of The University of Texas at Austin, invites students to volunteer for the Landmarks Preservation Guild.

The Landmarks Preservation Guild gives students the opportunity to learn about conservation of works of art, get hands-on experience with a local art conservator, and further their knowledge about public art. Volunteers build useful skills in the maintenance of original works of art and contribute to the beauty of public spaces on the main campus.

The program requires a commitment of about 2 hours every other week for monitoring artworks, and mandatory attendance of 2 workshops in the fall semester that are approximately 2 hours each.

Please visit the Landmarks website for further details.

Submit completed application (provided in link), letter of interest, and resume by 5 p.m. on Friday, September 12.
