Volunteer: Paid Study Social Laughter's Effect on Pain Tolerance

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of a controlled intervention with a comedy video on pain tolerance in a social setting while quantitatively measuring laughter, and compare it to a control of watching a documentary in a young healthy population experiencing delayed onset muscle soreness.  Currently recruiting males between the age of 20-40 and free of cardiovascular and musculoskeletal disease. Email stephlapierre@utexas.edu
