Attend “The Loyal Opposition,” a special presentation by Heather Gerken, the J. Skelly Wright Professor of Law at Yale Law School. Gerken will discuss her research on democracy, including the importance of constructing institutions that allow for systematic dissent with a focus on American federalism. UT Austin professor of government and law Jeffrey Abramson will also offer comments on the subject.

This endowed lecture, co-sponsored by the Department of Government, is open to the public and will be preceded by a reception at 5 p.m. in the law school's Jamail Pavilion outside the Eidman Courtroom.
