UT's Child Language Lab (Department of Linguistics) is recruiting volunteer families to participate in a study about language development in children. If your child is 10 years old, he or she may be eligible to participate. The study explores how children of different ages and from different cultural backgrounds imitate adults under different social circumstances. Our group has conducted the same study in Switzerland and in rural Mexico. Your child would be playing a board game with one of our researchers, and the game itself lasts about 25 minutes.
