30th D.B. Hardeman Prize for the Best Book about Congress

The LBJ Foundation presents the 30th D.B. Hardeman Prize to Fergus M. Bordewich for The First Congress:  How James Madison, George Washington, and a Group of Extraordinary Men Created the Government.  The Hardeman Prize is awarded each year to the author of the best book about the United States Congress.  Norman J. Ornstein, renowned Congressional expert and Resident Scholar at the American Enterprise Institute, will moderate a discussion and questions and answers with the audience.
