Positions are available for Friends of Alec (FOA) phonothon callers. These students call engineering alumni to inform them of the latest happenings at both the University and at the Cockrell School of Engineering. Contributions to the Friends of Alec Annual Giving Program support the Cockrell School’s strategic initiatives, scholarships, seven engineering departments, and student programs. Calling shifts are Sunday through Thursday. Students are scheduled to work two nights a week (from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM) with payment beginning at $8.50/hour and the possibility to earn up to $12/hour. Prizes and rewards given as bonuses!
To Apply: Attend one of the following hiring sessions located in the Ernest Cockrell Junior Building (ECJ) 10th floor conference room on Wednesday, September 2 or Thursday, September 3 between 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM to fill out an application and participate in a brief interview on a first-come, first-served basis. If hired, three mandatory training sessions will take place on September 14, 15, and 16 from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM with dinner provided all three nights.
