The Division of Housing and Food Service is offering the opportunity to earn money this summer working at UT!

Positions Include:

• Student Assistant Maintenance Worker
• Student Assistant Building Attendant

Individuals will assist our Building Services and Facilities teams working on campus (200 W Dean Keaton) and/or at our University Apartments (3501 Lake Austin Blvd) from May 15, 2017 until August 7, 2017. Individuals will be eligible to work up to 40 hours per week!*  

*Hours based on UT employment status

Student Assistant - Maintenance Worker – Starting at $8.25 per hour

The purpose of this position is to provide assistance to full time staff in all general maintenance activities within the Division of Housing and Food Service. Duties include changing air filters, installing bulletin boards, utilizing a work order system, inspecting and cleaning mechanical rooms, assist with make readies and assisting HVAC, Mechanic Technicians and other Trades in repairs as needed.

Student Assistant - Building Attendant – Starting at $8.25 per hour

The purpose of this position is to provide assistance to full time staff in all general maintenance activities within the Division of Housing and Food Service. Duties include cleaning rooms, offices, lobbies, hallways and other areas within the division to prepare for summer and fall occupancy, as well as preparing banquets and meeting rooms for conferences.
