Artificial Intelligence and Youth: Paid Research Study Recruiting Children and Parents Participants

Are you interested in Artificial Intelligence and willing to let your kid talk about their experience with digital assistants (e.g., Alexa, Google Home, Siri)? If your kid is:

  • Able to speak and read English
  • Has used a digital assistant at least once (e.g., Alexa, Google Home, Siri)
  • African-American or Latinx
  • Age from 8 to 12 years old

You and your kid are invited to participate in this research study. You will complete a questionnaire with some follow-up questions and your kid will talk about their experiences of using digital assistants. The study will take about 45mins in a private room at the School of Information (1616 Guadalupe St., Austin, TX 78701). This study has been approved by The University of Texas at Austin Institutional Review Board.

You and your kid will be compensated with a $30 Amazon gift card. We will also pay for your parking pass. Weekday and weekend time slots are available for scheduling.
