At the Edge of Knowing: Free Speech in Higher Education

This event will be a panel discussion organized around the topic “At the Edge of Knowing: Confronting the unknown, unanswered, and unimagined.” The conversation will focus on the boundaries of higher education — specifically, what is gained and lost when relegating certain people, ideas, or discourses to the edges of our academic vision? In the spirit of Free Speech Week, we hope to encourage a dialogue between students and faculty, using previously unanswered questions to spark newly imagined futures.
