Attend McNair Scholars Virtual Office Hours

Are you interested in applying to the UT Austin McNair Scholars Program for support on your journey towards earning a doctoral degree?

We would love to answer any questions you may have. Please visit our website for information about program offerings and eligibility, and attend our drop-in office hours on the following dates for any questions about the program:

  • Wednesdays from 4-5 pm with Graduate Assistant Hannah Hill - Zoom ID: 768 373 733
  • Thursdays from 3-4 pm with Program Director Dr. Eric Dieter - Zoom ID: 512 232 8487

Federally funded, the McNair Scholars program seeks to increase the number of undergraduate students earning doctoral degrees who are low-income and first-generation, and/or who come from communities underrepresented in graduate education. Program participants must be committed to enrolling in graduate programs with an end goal of successfully completing a Ph.D.

Applications are being considered on a rolling basis. Interested students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. Please contact Dr. Eric Dieter with questions.
