Join the Archivists of Central Texas for the Austin Archives Bazaar on Sunday, October 28 from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Saengerrunde Hall, 1607 San Jacinto Blvd. The Bazaar will feature twenty-six Central Texas archives, including large cultural collections like the Harry Ransom Center and Briscoe Center for American History, government collections like the Texas State Library and Archives Commission, university archives like Huston-Tillotson and Texas State, and niche collections like the South Austin Museum of Popular Culture and Anomaly Archives. Discover the films, photographs, documents, maps, video games, and more held in the incredible archival collections in Austin! Hear speakers discuss their experiences in the archives, take a photo in the old-time photo booth, watch the Archives Peep Show (G-rated!), record a story about Central Texas in the Oral History booth, play games, and share beers with like-minded, history-loving locals. Speakers this year include DaLyah Jones & Jacquelyn Carter from the Two & Fro podcast and Mark Morrow & Billy Driver from the television series Strange Town. For speaker schedule and full details for this FREE, family-friendly event, visit the Austin Archives Bazaar website. We hope to see you there!
