 tant considerations for preparing to visit libraries or archives in-person
 \, both local and international. We will discuss how to gather information
  about materials and policies for digitization\, as well as best practices
  for handling special and archival items. We will also cover:\n\n-how to d
 igitize in a library/archive using a mobile phone\, digital camera\, or sc
 anner\n-ways to get the best images\n-how to prioritize digitization and i
 mage processing needs\n-how to organize your digitized materials on your d
 evice(s).\n\nAttendees are encouraged to bring their own devices (to get s
 et up for future research needs) and to identify the libraries or archives
