The Texas Auditory Neuroscience Lab (TexAN Lab) is searching for adult (30+ y.o.) and pediatric (5-15 y.o.) participants for a Binuaral EAS study! Participants will be compensated $15 per hour for their time, with the visit lasting approximately 3 hours. They will perform a series of tasks to assess speech understanding/perception, sound localization, and BASIC auditory/hearing functions. Moreover, they will receive a FREE hearing test.

Requirements include:

• Reported normal hearing in both ears
• Use of spoken English as main mode of communication
• No co-morbid diagnoses such as autism, auditory neuropathy, neurological disorder, or general cognitive difficulties

Note - Non-invasive electrodes will be placed on the scalp with small amounts of gel. Please be aware that we need access to your scalp, and you may wish to wash your hair afterward.
