After 18 months of data collection, Blue Index is pleased to present the compiled project results at an interactive, multi-media exhibition!

Please join us for a public viewing exhibition from 5-7pm. This will include a detailed explanation of the project through engaging digital displays and participatory water mapping activities. We hope you'll join us, as we celebrate this project milestone.

Blue Index is a student project designed to expand public participation in the protection and management of our local waterways. Through a network of 33 stations that span 17 watersheds, local residents are asked to share a photo, take an assessment, and lend their voice to
this emerging collaborative effort. The project aims to understand
qualitative impressions of water from residents to improve the way
a city manages water. In doing so, Blue Index relies on public engagement to advocate for the protection of shared waters and establish an environmental sense of ownership.
