Authors Kavitha A. Davisdon and Jessica W. Luther speak with Dr. Jennifer MCClearen about their new book from UT Press Loving Sports When They Don't Love You Back: Dilemmas of the Modern Fan. The book addresses what it means to be a fan, even as moral and ethical dilemmas—from doping to domestic violence—complicate the games so many love. This talk is hosted by the Center for Sports Communication & Media in the Moody College of Communication. Luther is a CSCM Fellow and a doctoral student is the College of Education. Dr. McClearen is a professor in the Department of Radion-Television-Film.
