Breaking the Silence: Survivors of Dating Violence Speak-Out

Breaking the Silence is an annual event that serves as a space for survivors to speak out about their experiences with relationship violence. There will be an open mic for survivors and allies to share stories, an interactive art installation called The Visual Voices Project, and a resource fair with both on- and off-campus organizations. Throughout the night we will have performances, including music and slam poetry, and a keynote speech. Light refreshments will be available. Participation in the speak-out is not required to attend.
