Are you studying languages and cultures and wondering how you can incorporate your studies into your career path? Join us for a special Zoom event featuring FLAS fellowship alumni panelists working in a variety of industries. Open to all liberal arts undergraduates and grad students.
Speakers include:
Ellery Cushman is a CREEES FLAS recipient and has a dual MA in Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies/Global Policy Studies. She is currently a Program Officer, Eurasia at National Democratic Institute (NDI).
Alyssa Goessler is a MES FLAS recipient and has a dual MA in Middle Eastern Studies/Global Policy Studies. She is currently a Senior Capabilities and Insights Analyst in Aerospace and Defense at McKinsey & Company. Her MA thesis was titled "Waste Studies' Insight Into Orbital Debris: A United Arab Emirates Case Study."
Isaac McQuistion is a SAI FLAS recipient and has a PhD in Asian Studies. He is currently a Senior Global Intelligence Analyst at AlertMedia; previously Global Risk and Safety Coordinator, UT Austin Texas Global
Matthew Sherman is a CES FLAS recipient and has a PhD in Germanics. He is currently Associate Director of Global Learning & Development at APCO Worldwide
Roberto Young is a LLILAS FLAS recipient and has a MA in Latin American Studies with portfolio certification in Native American and Indigenous Studies.
