For the rest of the semester we are going to start looking at parts of "A Grander Story". This is a book written largely by professors discussing how they have lived as academics and made a difference. The book presents some penetrating questions for evaluation. Copies of "A Grander Story" available at the meeting.

Do you realize how OFFENSIVE this is to Jews?! As a Jewish student I am unspeakably angry to read this. The Jewish Holidays are not upon YOU they are upon Jews. They are our most holy days, and you are attempting to desecrate them. How would you feel if the Muslim Faculty Network said that Christmas and Easter were just "rehearsals" for the coming of Mohammad? Use your common sense and compassion for a second. I think you owe Jews (and the Christians out there who do not espouse this horrific ideology) a huge apology.
