Join the Center for Health and Environment, Education and Research (CHEER) and the Jackson School of Geosciences (JSG) for the Climate Change and Health Open House to be held on Tuesday, May 2^nd from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in Mezes Hall, Room 1.210.

Network with health and climate change scientists and explore opportunities to develop collaborative pilot grant proposals.

Format:

5:00-5:15 p.m. – Opening remarks: Dr. Elizabeth Matsui, Dr. David Mohrig

5:15-7:00 p.m. – Circulate among breakout rooms to discuss research opportunities at the interface of climate change and:

  Maternal/fetal Health, led by Dr. George Macones

  Respiratory Health, led by Dr. Trisha Parekh

  Infectious Diseases, led by Dr. Kerry Cook

  Emergency medicine/pediatrics, led by Dr. Matt Wilkinson
