The Texas Union Endowed Lectureship and Texas Athletics will host Coach Beard and Coach Beard: An Evening with Brendan Hunt on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at the Texas Union Shirley Bird Perry Ballroom (UNB 3.202). The event is FREE for guests with a UT ID. Doors to the Shirley Bird Perry Ballroom will open at 6:30 PM and the lecture will begin at 7:00 PM.

The lectureship will be a moderated conversation between Hunt, one of the writers and stars of Apple TV+’s TED LASSO, and UT Men’s Basketball head coach Chris Beard, followed by an audience-submitted Q&A. The conversation will center around Hunt’s career and journey toward TED LASSO, the ethos and philosophy behind the show, and lessons both he and Coach Beard have learned around leadership, positivity, and the power of relationships.
