In order to continue to create a safer UT community, all student organizations complete the Safety Education Program annually. Safety Education connects student organizations to risk management, prevention, and emergency resources. The safety education program is a two step process. The first step is this Safety Education Leadership Workshop for presidents/primary contacts of all registered and sponsored student organizations. The second step is for the president/primary contact to present the workshop content back to their student organization. Presidents/primary contacts may attend this workshop on behalf of more than one organization in which they serve as president or primary contact. In order to receive credit for each organization, you must sign-in and provide step two to every organization you represent. It is suggested that you select a date for a workshop that fits your schedule as soon as possible, as they are first come, first serve. Additionally, attending an earlier workshop provides presidents/primary contacts with more time to plan and complete step two, the safety education organization training. Multiple workshops are provided to fit your schedule; however, you only need to attend one workshop per academic year. Nothing must be reviewed in advance to prepare for the workshop. Please bring something to write with and a smart phone if you have one.
