DESCRIPTION:We will be honored to have you join us for the 3rd American Ass
 ociation of Teachers of Turkic Languages and Literatures Conference on lang
 uage and literature pedagogy. We will host presenters from the United State
 s\, Canada\, Turkey\, Iran and Kazakhstan.  All presentations will be Engli
 sh so that educators of other languages can attend and exchange ideas. The 
 3rd AATT Conference will take place on November 14 (9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.) a
 nd 15 (8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.)\, 2018 at the Glickman Conference Center on Th
 e University of Texas at Austin campus. The objective of these yearly confe
 rences is to advance and improve the teaching of Turkic languages\; to prom
 ote study\, criticism\, and research in the field of Turkic languages and l
 iteratures\; and to further the common interests of teachers of these subje
 cts. \n\nThemes\n\n-       How to start and maintain a successful language 
 program \n\n-       Implementation of National Standards and Guidelines\n\n
 -       New approaches to the teaching of Turkic languages and literatures\
 n\n-       Perceptions of and perspectives on teaching Turkic languages and

        Curriculum development and textbook writing for Turkic languages\n\n
