About this Event
Drones have become a powerful research tool because of their ability to collect very high resolution geospatial imagery. This workshop will discuss how imagery collected with drones can be processed, visualized, and analyzed to study vegetation, topography, and geomorphology. It will provide an introduction to the use of photogrammetry software, GIS, and Python for image analysis.
Data & Donuts is a workshop series organized each semester by the Libraries Research Data Services. Instructors from the Libraries and partners from across campus share expert advice, resources, and tools that will help you take good care of your data throughout its lifecycle, from project conception to the long-term archive.
